4.1 Physical Facilities
Availability of adequate infrastructure and physical facilities viz., classrooms, laboratories, ICT facilities, cultural activities, gymnasium, yoga centre etc. in the institution
The institute is situated alongside Mumbai Agra national highway NH3 at Chandwad at, a vast piece of land with a scenic natural setting at the foot of Sahyadri ranges, having a calm, quiet, and wonderful atmosphere conducive to learning. SNJB campus covers an area of 28 acres and boasts a built-up area of engineering college of 16852.26 square meters. Its infrastructure complies with the regulatory standards of Affiliating university and AICTE and fulfills functional requirements. It features 20 ICT-enabled classrooms, seven tutorial rooms, 48 laboratories, one drawing halls, a workshop, a central library, a language laboratory, a canteen, and a playground. The modern facilities create an environment conducive to learning and teaching, and the management actively seeks to develop and enhance infrastructure to support academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. The college has allocated sufficient of its funds to infrastructure augmentation and maintenance.
Each department has computer labs equipped for online exams, aptitude tests, project development, and competitions. The institution also has well-equipped HoD cabins, staff rooms, cubicles, seminar halls, and departmental libraries and computer centers accessible to all stakeholders. The institute's computing facilities are adequate, with a student-computer ratio of 1.89 and a LAN and Wi-Fi facility providing continuous internet connectivity at 300 Mbps. The college has built indoor and outdoor sports facilities and a gym and provides an uninterrupted power supply and purified drinking water. The central library has a built-up area of 490 square meters and a reading room that can accommodate 150 students. An online public access catalog (OPAC) allows students and teachers to reserve books, and e-journals are available to all staff members and students via LAN, remote access, and multi-user capability. The institute has established procedures for maintaining its academic, administrative, and physical facilities. Gardening, cleaning, and routine civil and electrical maintenance are managed in-house, while sanitary services and campus facility maintenance are outsourced. The campus is equipped with CCTV surveillance, fire fighting systems, ample parking space, and an ATM and Bank.
In addition to its academic facilities, SNJB Late K B Jain COE also provides students with common facilities, including a boy's and girl's common room, a health care center with doctor visits, and a lift and ramp for handicapped students. For sports enthusiasts, the college has two playgrounds that feature facilities like a volleyball court, a kabaddi ground, and a basketball court. The college also has indoor game facilities like table tennis, chess, and carrom boards, as well as a gymnasium. To encourage physical wellness and good health, the college has provided a green gymnasium, which is accessible to students both on campus and at the hostel. Every year, the college celebrates World Yoga Day to promote a culture of health consciousness among students and faculty.

4.2 Library as a learning Resource
Library is automated using Integrated Library Management System ILMS, subscription to e-resources, amount spent on purchase of books, journals and per day usage of library
Our library has done Automation with KOHA partially automated software for smooth functioning of circulation, bibliographic records and barcoding. KOHA is a free, open-source integrated library system that provides libraries with tools for managing their collections, patrons, and circulation. KOHA provides a suite of modules for managing various library functions, including cataloging, circulation, patrons, serials, and more. Our library has done Automation with KOHA software for smooth functioning of circulation, bibliographic records and barcoding. KOHA OPAC refers to the Online Public Access Catalog of the KOHA integrated library system. It allows library users to search and access the library collection of resources, including books, journals, and other resources, through a web-based interface. The KOHA OPAC also provides features such as account management, request and renewal of books and book reservation. Central library has provided the OPAC facility to the users that allows them to easily access the library database. https://snjbopac.academiaerp.com/ KOHA provides a book reservation facility that allows patrons to reserve books that are currently checked out. When a book is reserved, the patron is added to a waiting list, and they are notified when the book becomes available. KOHA provides a purchase request module that allows patrons to request that the library purchase a particular item, such as a book or other resource.
